This hotel in an ...

This hotel in an old building offers a good compromise if you want to stay in Tribeca. However, the costs do not match the benefits and this is why 3 stars are a fair score. The location is convenient both for those who like to walk and for those in need of a subway access to uptown Manhattan. The customer service is very efficient. The first morning we woke up here the shower was clogged so one of us has to shower with the water still there on the ground of the cabin. Spaces are really limited. We booked a 'luxury' room (their category) with 2 separate beds. The closet could have never contained even the 20% of the luggages. As many guests, we need to go around NYC and attend different events for which we needed our clothes. Guess what? The room (as often in NYC) was too small to leave the luggage open, so we had to spend a ridicolous quantity of time to organize ourselves and share the space when we need to change ur clothes. This is not what you expect for a 'luxury' room, but these are the spaces in NYC in the old buildings such as this one. Again, they were very professional and helped me a lot to recover a bracelet. Flawless customer service. However, the overall experience is not positive as we we unhappy about the limitation in our room even booking the most expensive room they had. It can be recommended if you are travelling for just few days and you do not really need to open your luggage being content with a tiny space in the closet where to put few things
