What Guests Are Saying About The Frederick Hotel

Very nice location next to the subway and near popular tourist destinations in Manhattan. Cute lobby, nice bar, cute room, but small. No coffee in the room!? Really close to being quite the gem, but it has misses that seem to be easily fixed. Leaves you a slightly bit frustrated. Turns out there is free coffee provided in the restaurant lobby next door, however we were never told that at check-in for our three night stay. Really average customer service. Some people were great, some were not. Not told about coffee. No grab-and-go breakfast as advertised. Had to ask about the deal mentioned on the website when booking. The trash wasn’t taken out during housekeeping for our last night. Shoddy wifi. No help with wifi. The water from other rooms was EXTREMELY loud in our room and when we communicated that, it was suggested it was the outside street… rude. The bathroom door lock broke during our stay (they fixed it very promptly, but it all just starts to add up). Kicking the above list off, they also never responded to my email before we arrived. It’s so close to being a wonderful stay, but the steps to make it wonderful just aren’t taken.

L'hôtel est bien situé et les services sont bons. En revanche, les chambres sont très mal isolées. J'entendais la télé de la chambre d'à côté ou lorsqu'il parlait. J'entendais aussi tous les bruits de la rue. J'avais l'impression d'être dehors. Prenez des bouchons d'oreilles pour bien dormir.

Upside is that it's a great price for being in Tribeca. Downside is even after the remodel it has some shortcomings. The most normal of which is it is noisy. The streets outside are noisy and the people inside are too. Rooms are small and quaint.
