What Guests Are Saying About The Frederick Hotel

Very small and quaint hotel/room. Lobby was clean and smelled great! First night was awesome! However, second night is where things took a turn. My husband and I had just returned from our dinner date, not even 5 minutes inside our room when we were interrupted from our conversation with loud banging on the wall from the room next door. We ignored it, then 2 minutes later we heard banging on the door (loud banging!) we were confused and before opening the door I asked my husband “is that an employee?” The person on the other side of the door responded with an attitude and rude, “Yes is it!” … so we opened the door and without hesitation she immediately threatened us to “evict us” out of the room because there was a noise complaint made. To begin with, she was RUDE and had a very mean and unwelcome attitude. Secondly, we weren’t warned or notified about a noise complaint prior to be threatened with “eviction”. My husband and I were so confused as to what noise were they referring to, the TV was off, no music was playing, we simply were carrying on a conversation and like I stated earlier, we had just walked in the room. That encounter completely ruined my experience and I was glad to leave that place immediately after I stay. We paid a lot of money just like any other customer, yet they made us feel less than by threatening us to evict us in the middle of the night without an initial warning, definitely WILL NOT stay at this location ever! I understand that noise complaints are made, however, the employee did not give us a chance to rectify the noise HAD THERE BEEN ANY, she led off with “eviction” right away. Her approach to the situation was uncalled for, we never received a “warning” or multiple complaints prior to her banging on our door like she was the police!

Very good location. Friendly staff. Near of subway. Clean room. Breakfast not very special. Very ugly view of the backyard. Damp room. The promised free internet doesnt work. Really strange 300$ deposit.
