Exactly what it needed ...

Exactly what it needed to be given the price (under $200/night) and Tribeca location. Friendly staff, clean and modern room. The deluxe studio with a queen bed is a small space but fit 2 comfortably. I would definitely stay here again.

Small but excellent condition ...

Small but excellent condition & comfy rooms. Everything we needed and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only negative was that they have resort fees and those need to be just added into the overall cost rather than not be transparent.

"Honey, I Shrunk the ...

"Honey, I Shrunk the Hotel Room!" Folks, let me tell you about my stay at The Frederick Hotel. If you're looking to relive your college dorm days or practice your contortionist skills, this is the place for you! As a man of considerable stature, I felt like Alice in Wonderland after she drank the "Drink Me" potion. The room was so cozy, I could brush my teeth, change the TV channel, and open the curtains all while sitting on the toilet. Talk about efficiency! Breakfast? More like break-the-bank-fast. I considered selling a kidney to afford a croissant, but the staff was so charming I almost forgot about my empty wallet and growling stomach. They were like rays of sunshine in a sardine can. On the bright side, if you're looking to lose weight, just try navigating the room for a day. It's like a built-in obstacle course! Who needs a gym when you can do lunges just to reach the bathroom? In all seriousness, though, the service was top-notch. The staff deserves a medal for making me feel like a valued guest, even as I was wedged between the bed and the wall. Would I stay again? Maybe, if I develop a sudden interest in minimalism or human origami.
