What Guests Are Saying About The Frederick Hotel

Location is perfect, I really liked Tribeca, you have tons of restaurants, bars, bagels and coffee places. Subway is just outside the hotel. The interior is beautiful! So nice, cozy but feels high end. Service was great! We stayed in the smallest room they have, it was a bit tight but overall no complaints. Shower was so good and well designed. Bed was a bit small and too soft in my opinion but again, it was fine. Reception was always helpful, I would like to thank to D’cuan Santana, he was such a great guy, always welcoming, always smiling and we had some interesting and fun conversations. Thank you Mr Santana!

The Frederick Hotel has an excellent location, with easy access to the subway and many attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring New York City. The staff were also very friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay, which was definitely a positive aspect of the experience. However, there were several aspects of the stay that could be improved. The room was very small, and the beds were surprisingly narrow I don’t think they are ideal for two adults. This was my first visit to New York, so perhaps this is common for hotels in the city, but it was still less comfortable than expected. Another issue was the noise. The windows did not provide enough sound insulation, and we had roadworks outside throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. In addition, the curtains did not fully cover the windows, allowing a significant amount of daylight into the room early in the morning. Considering the relatively high price we paid, I felt that the overall experience did not quite live up to the value I expected. Overall, the hotel’s location and service are definite advantages, but improvements to the room size, bed comfort, soundproofing, and blackout curtains would make the experience much better.
