Camera un po’ piccola ma la posizione strategica prevale. Fermata della metro a due metri. Comodissimo. Colazione semplice ma completa di tutto il necessario. Per la cena c’è il ristorante pizzeria collegato ma i prezzi non sono economici. Meglio spostarsi.

had a great experience staying here! the rooms were clean, loved the shower because the knob was on the opposite side of the shower head slippers, robes, hair dryer, etc were all supplied it’s a quiet area but close to the metro and other locations i would def return

We recently spent six nights at The Frederick. The location was perfect for exploring NYC. The subway station right outside of the hotel took us most everywhere we wanted to go. For trips that required a different subway line, the next nearest station was about a 3 minute walk away. We walked to both the World Trade Center area and Battery Park from the hotel. The neighborhood felt incredible safe and there were lots of dining options nearby. The room was small, as would be expected at the oldest hotel in NYC but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. The staff were all helpful and friendly. We were warmly greeted by the doorman and offered bottled water by the front desk staff when we'd return to the hotel at the end of the day. There was always a bowl of clementines sitting out, the continental breakfast was delicious, and the free glasses of wine on select nights was great. The best part of staying at The Frederick, however, was the inclusion of the free walking tours. We took three of the tours and they were all top notch. I would book here again just to experience the rest of the walking tours.
