OPERA America invites the staff of its Professional Company Members to attend the annual Marketing/PR Forum in OPERA America's National Opera Center.   Marketing and public relations professionals from opera companies across North America gather to share successful practices and learn about trends around topics such as advertising, content development and media. A full schedule of events will be available in September.   The Marketing/PR Forum will conclude with the launch of a national digital campaign to communicate the vitality and relevance of opera and opera companies.   The forum is free to attend and a limited number of travel subsidies are available (see guidelines in registration).   For questions or additional information, please contact Rolando Reyes-Mir at RReyesMir@operaamerica.org or 212-796-8628. Forum Stipends  A limited number of travel stipends are available to the staff of Professional Company Members to participate in the Marketing/PR Forum. Each forum registrant may request a stipend of up to 50% of travel expenses (including transportation and hotel), not to exceed $250.   Stipends are awarded on a first-come basis, with priority given to (1) staff attending from companies that have yet to attend the Marketing/PR Forum and (2) staff attending the Marketing/PR Forum for the first time. If multiple staff members from a company are attending, only one is eligible to receive a stipend.   Notification of stipends will be made no later than 6 weeks prior to the meeting, on or before September 5th, 2019. Stipends are issued as reimbursements following the forum. In order to receive payment, you will be asked to: Provide confirmation of transportation and/or hotel bookings prior to three weeks in advance of the forum meeting, on or before September 26, 2019.
