OPERA America invites the staff of its Professional Company Members to attend the annual Finance/HR Forum in OPERA America's National Opera Center. Over the course of this meeting, you'll continue to build relationships with other professionals in your network, identify and explore vital subjects affecting the field, and share ideas that will help guide the Network for the year ahead. The forum is free to attend and a limited number of travel subsidies are available (see guidelines in registration). Forum Stipends A limited number of travel stipends are available to the staff of Professional Company Members to participate in the Finance/HR Forum. Each forum registrant may request a stipend of up to 50% of travel expenses (including transportation and hotel), not to exceed $250. Stipends are awarded on a first-come basis, with priority given to (1) staff attending from companies that have yet to attend the Finance/HR Forum and (2) staff attending the Finance/HR Forum for the first time. If multiple staff members from a company are attending, only one is eligible to receive a stipend. Notification of stipends will be made no later than 6 weeks prior to the meeting, on or before January 16, 2020. Stipends are issued as reimbursements following the forum. In order to receive payment, you will be asked to: Provide confirmation of transportation and/or hotel bookings prior to three weeks in advance of the forum meeting, on or before February 6, 2020. If you do not submit these receipts by this time, you will forfeit your stipend to another registrant. Sign in and attend the entirety of the scheduled forum meetings. Complete an evaluation and submit a stipend request form following the conclusion of the forum meeting.
