We are an international nonprofit service organization founded in 1932 at Freedman's Hospital, now Howard University Hospital, in Washington, D.C. Our organization was founded by Aliene Carrington Ewell and 11 other registered nurses. Our local chapter Theta Chi was chartered on May 22, 1965 and is located in Laurelton, NY.
