These thorough Materials Modules are the first step for students to intimately learn the perfumer's palette. Participants will acquire knowledge about, and interact with, the most important materials used in perfumery. This course is intended for those seeking technical education to create perfumes, as well as enthusiasts of perfumery. This module is all about Florals and Aldehydes! The modules can all be taken individually depending on your interest. Intro to Perfumery and Odor Vocabulary are requirements for this class, unless students have taken equivalent perfumery coursework.  These modules are taught by olfactory expert Gus Romero, who has attended courses at Pratt Institute, GIP in Grasse, ISIPCA in Versailles and the IAO in Los Angeles. Optional Olfactoriums will be offered by Perfumariē for purchase to complement each course and can be ordered two weeks before or anytime after the course. They will enable students to continue their olfactory practice.   For more info and coursework details visit the Indie Perfumers Guild website.
