Class Description:

The workshop will be mastered by the company one company professional dancers. It begins with stretching and postural consciousness exercises going through floor work, ballet and contemporary dance exercises and techniques to reach phrases and movements from "Dog Without Feathers".

Instructor's Bio:

Jacqueline Motta performed with the Brazilian companies of Lennie Dale and Marly Tavares, Regina Sauer, Lia Rodrigues, João Saldanha and Nadia Nardini and also in several musicals as Divina Chanchada, Teatro Musical Brasileiro, Plim and the Brazilian version of the musical Chorus Line. She choreographed shows and films for the well-known Brazilian group "Casseta e Planeta" and for the Brazilian television network Manchete. Jacqueline has worked for Companhia de Dança Deborah Colker since 1993. Along with her work at the Company, she has also been assisting Deborah Colker on her parallel projects and commissioned works, among which are the theater plays A Dama do Mar directed by Ulisses Cruz and Crioulla and Metralha both directed by Stella Miranda, the film "Irma Vap" directed by Carla Camurati and the Cirque de Soleil show "Ovo", the opening group of the carnival official parade of several Samba Schools and the reset of the perfo
